Tim Burns- Tennis Pro
Tim started out playing tennis as a boy because his father loved to play. That love for the game was passed onto him, and he has been playing ever since. He played on the tennis team that won the Arkansas state championships when he was a junior and continues to play on teams to this day, through USTA leagues. His proudest moment in tennis was coaching a team the 3.0 women's team from Rockport to nationals. Prior to coming to the Racket & Fitness Center, he taught at the Midcoast Recreation Center in Rockport and in southern California. Tim is certified by the PTR as a Tennis Professional for both juniors and adults. He is available for private, semi-private and group lessons and for CardioTennis, a fast paced 1 hour program designed to get you in shape while building your tennis skills. In addition to these, he is putting together special one day clinics to focus on various aspects of the game such as doubles, groundstrokes, and volleys.
